Despite the fact that half of me heralds from the North East, it never fails to amaze me just how cold I get all. The. Time! That said, I always struggle with buying a winter coat…
I can never find one that isn’t too bulky, that doesn’t make me feel like I’m dying of overheating when I catch an rush hour tube. My sister-in-law has the most beautiful Zara coat and every year when she wears it upon her return from Singapore I can feel myself turning in to the heart eyes emoji, wishing I’d opted for something a little bit more glamorous then the standard black coat I normally opt for.
This year however I wanted to up my jacket game. I was haphazardly browsing New Look when this beauty landed in my basket (oops). It’s super reasonably priced, beautiful colour and so warm, not to mention, it’s got lovely deep pockets (I love clothes that have pockets).
I also couldn’t help but add the adorable little bobble hat to my basket – these are so in right now but most of the ones I’ve seen have been really overpriced, or used real fur for the bobble. This New Look version is perfect, cheap, and comes in several colours too – woop!
