Moniko is such a beautiful concept; they take vintage kimonos and repurpose them in to beautiful accessories and clutches.
The bag itself is so beautiful; the fabric is so luxurious and I love that it’s a tiny, beautiful slice of history. This particular piece is recrafted from a Kimono – and you’ll be doing good when you purchase a piece of history as the artisans behind Moniko are from self-help and NGOs in South East Asia.
