For all of you doing a healthy January, I can only apologise for what I’m about to do…
You’ll need:
Dark Choc (35g)
2 x Salted Caramel jars
1 tsp of instant coffee
125 ml boiling water
Betty Crocker Fudge Brownies Mix
So, whip up a batch of Fudge brownies – you can make these from scratch or Betty’s are perfectly fine :). Bake, and set aside to cool.
While you’re waiting, boil the kettle, put the chocolate, water, and coffee together in a pan with the water and melt slowly making sure not to burn the chocolate. Then, take off the heat and leave to cool.
Add the two jars of Salted Caramel in – you should have a lovely pan of gooey chocolate/ salted caramel goodness now (try not to get caught eating this instead of making the brownies on several occasions like I did … several times…)
Now, using a spatula or flat-edged knife (flatula?) spread the sauce over your brownie mix – I also added some liquid gold icing to mine to give the brownie a marbled effect
Set in the fridge to cool. Word to the wise – these aren’t grab and go brownies – they’re really gooey, so a fork and a plate is recommended 🙂
These were gone within the day at our house; super easy to make, way too easy to eat and minimal mess to clean up after!
