Every now and then, I find there’s a real lag for my blog in terms of what I can post. Not because I’m uninspired, or because I don’t feel like it, but just because life simply isn’t always exciting.
I’m super excited as I just began at a new job. Well actually, it’s my old job – so to speak. I worked with my sister years ago and its been my dream to go back and help her and her husband with their business. After two years at the best agency in the world, I’m super excited to be back with my sister 🙂
My last week at my old job passed by in a flurry of goodbyes, drinks, some tears and lots of laughter.
Monday rolled round and I found myself back in an old town I know very well – Henley, where I used to work and live. It’s so beautiful there – you might have heard of it as every year there’s a famous regatta.
It was lovely being back at home last week – my Mum and Dad are super green fingered and their garden is coming into bloom now – especially all of the roses everywhere – it’s absolutely perfect, especially in this weather!
It’s been a busy start so far at the new job, getting my feet under the table, getting in to a new routine, getting to know a new team (apart from my sister and her husband…Obviously 😉 ). It made me think a lot about changes, and how changes come to be – some changes are changes that force your hand. Some changes are something that you want. And some changes land on your plate unexpectedly, but take you back exactly where you want to be 🙂 .
The whole week flew past, and before I knew it it was time to head back to London – who welcomed me back with picnic-perfect weather, meaning there was only one thing for it… Prosecco and a trip to Bishops Park!
June and July have some exciting plans – a baby shower, visitors from afar, a spa day, some new places to visit in London, and holidays booked in for August and September that I’m really looking forward to…
It’s shaping up to be a good summer so far and I can’t wait to tell you all about it! 🙂
Summer’s just begun and so has the excitement!
Looks like you’re due for a lot of fun in the sun, creating special memories with special people.
