I’m a city girl – it’s true. I love London, its where my heart belongs. But my soul? My soul is most content in the country. I grew up out in the sticks, and I loved being outdoors as a kid. Every now and then, you need to get out of all the hustle bustle and London brings, bundle two of your best girls in a car along with your suitcases, book an Air B n B in the middle of nowhere, roll out of London (and hope your car makes it up any hills you encounter… She did by the way, well, just about…)

I’ve never been to a wine tasting before, it’s one of those things the girls and I keep meaning to get round to but just never quite do. And after experiencing wine tasting in Italy, I’m pretty glad I waited, because somehow I just don’t think anywhere else will measure up.

I’m a strange one – on holiday, and on weekends, I’ll set an alarm for 7.30am / 8 – although its rare that I won’t wake before it. Luckily for me, Kelda is the same, so when I crept downstairs in the morning, the doors were wide open and, luckily for me, the sun was up.
