Remembering My Love for Reading Again…

At home, my Mum has what we call the library room. It is possibly one of my favourite places on earth. There are rows and rows of the books she’s read, and there’s so many she’s collected over the years that they line the shelves in her study now, too! Growing up, I soon discovered I shared her love of books. I read everything and anything, finding myself with a particular soft spot for the Jacqueline Wilson books and later on, eagerly waiting at the post box when the new Harry Potter books were due out for delivery…

    Celebrating The Things You Love…

Ah Valentines Day. Loved by some, liked by many and simply loathed by others. Chiswick House and Gardens…

When I was younger, I said I was never ever going to live in London. You couldn’t get me in that big scary city – no way, no thank you. Swap beautiful rolling green country side and animals for smog and miserable business people? Absolutely not. Of course, 5 year old me would be wholly disappointed in 27 year old me, but then 5 year old me wouldn’t know of the wonder of some of London’s absolute hidden gems. I’ve told you all about Bishops Park before, but today we’re exploring Chiswick House & Gardens…

    Chapter Twelve.

It’s probably a little bit early to be doing a round-up post, as I imagine most organised bloggers have them written and scheduled neatly for arrival on 31st, but, I’ve finally got time to breathe and I’ve finally had a chance to get my headspace back together, so I wanted to get back on the blogging horse, so to speak, with a bit of an explanation as to where I’ve been…
